Early Pop Song Contender

The first contender for pop song of the year has arrived and it is a doozy. I don't expect it to win come the the end of the year, 'cause it's not a party jam, which is the way it tends to go, but I wanted to announce it anyway.
Bloc Party's "Prayer" is the song.
it makes me feel happy, sad, hopeful, desperate, melancholy, all at the same time.
The chorus is beautiful, immediate, and groovy.
The song is also this generation's "How Soon is Now?"
